A personal message from our new host, Rabbi

Rabbi's Elephant Bar is situated on busy Soi Buakhao, just next to the junction with Soi 21 coming down from Third Road. Barely a year old the bar is very spacious and comfortable with a large air-conditioned inside bar area and a popular front patio area for "people watching" and relaxing. The boss, "Rabbi" has eight guest rooms at reasonable prices for long and short stay alike. All have AC, television, ensuite facilities, a fridge and an ample floor space. The superior rooms also have a small balcony. It is the perfect base for a golfing holiday.

The PGS "clubhouse" is a hive of activity on a golf day with the early morning arrivals calling for breakfast before their departure for the course and after about five o' clock the golfers return for the presentation, which normally takes place about 6-6:30pm according to the distance they have to travel from the course. All goflers are given the warmest of welcomes by Rabbi's attentive young staff and the beer is cheap and plentiful.

Facilities for golfers include free internet connection on the golf computer to check on results, fixtures, latest news and the like, a large clear noticeboard for signups, news and messages, upstairs lockers for the secure storage of golf bags and personal possessions, a large carpark directly opposite and four televisions carrying all the major cable and satellite TV stations, with the emphasis on the sports channels.

All in all the bar is the perfect base for our golf activities and the reaction from our many friends has been one of undisputed satisfaction. Come in and join us, the welcome is warm, the beers are cold and the golf is a wonderful distraction from the realities of life in Pattaya!
